Despite some of the extremely elaborate commemorations that have taken place in London, New York and Jerusalem, the real strength of Deir Yassin remembrance has always been in the countless small commemorations that have taken place in schools, churches, synagogues, mosques and private houses around the world. As we always say, all you need to remember Deir Yassin are two people and a candle (though a camera is also pretty useful).
You may wish to put on something quite small and intimate or something much larger and more elaborate. Whatever type of event you want - large or small, secular or religious, political or artistic - we want to help, and this page will contain information that we think you will find useful.
For a start, go to our "Resources for commemorations" page where you can access many materials that have ben used and found effective.
