Today, there exist four memorials to the victims of the Deir Yassin massacre. Though thousands of miles apart and different in size and style, all are significant and all are united by a common heritage and meaning.

Deir Yassin Remembered shall one day build another memorial at the village of Deir Yassin itself, just across the valley from the most famous Jewish Holocaust memorial at Yad Vashem.

We believe Deir Yassin - where victim and perpetrator stand clearly defined – is the only place where Jews, Palestinians and others can truthfully learn about, understand and come to terms with their shared history… and each other.

Find out more about these memorials – and our ongoing work to build more, especially the memorial in its rightful place at Deir Yassin – by clicking on the images below.
